Background and Objectives
South East Asia Regional Computer Conference 2007

The First South East Asia Regional Computer Conference was held in Singapore, September 6-9, 1976 as shown in the picture above with Prof.Dr. Srisakdi Charmonman as the Chief Delegate from Thailand. At that coference, it was agreed to astablish South East Asia Regional Computer Confederation.

• South East Asia Regional Computer Confederation was formally established in 1978.
• From 1978 - 1988 South East Asia Regional Computer Conference were held.
• From 1988 it was agreed to hold the conference annually.

For the year 2007 South East Asia Regional Computer Conference will be held in Thailand November 18-19, 2007 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani concurrently with Bangkok International ICT Expo 2007.
